Dennis Harris has more than 30 years of business management and development, with a primary focus in building small and medium sized companies. Mr. Harris lead, the business plan development efforts of several entrepreneurial ventures. He has developed the strategy and lead capital raising efforts within the public and private markets.
His experience includes a cross section of corporate management, supervision, proposal writing, developing corporate structure plans, designing technology solutions and management of sales and marketing efforts. Mr. Harris has managed the selection and oversight of manufacturers, vendors and contractors. He has identified and attracted directors and advisors to serve as board members to companies that he has helped to build. He owned and operated a telecommunication company for over fifteen (15) years, prior to joining Quality Telecommunications Services, Inc., in the role of Vice President of Commercial Services. As Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy at BroadbandConnect, Inc and as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Quality Telecommunication Services, Inc.
Over his years of business experience Mr. Harris has closed deals with leading companies like Exelon, Bechtel Engineering, Sprint, DC Water, Utilities across the nation and multiple Federal, DOD and State & Local government agencies. These relationships along with others, has resulted in hundreds of million dollars of revenue. During his tenure at Ideal Electrical Supply from 2005-2017, he was instrumental in the growth of the company revenue from $10 Million to $51 Million.
Mr. Harris is a graduate of the Minority Business Executive Management program at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia and holds an Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Prince George’s Community College and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Almeda University.
Mr. Harris a native of Washington, DC currently resides in Accokeek, MD with his wife Doris of over 38 years, and their 7 children, served as a licensed Foster Care Provider caring for children from Washington, DC. Has served on charity boards including UCAP of Prince Georges County and Kreative Health Group of Bowie, Maryland.
